• Email Address – Collected when you sign up or use certain features.
• Resume (Optional) – If you choose to upload a resume, we temporarily store it for processing and delete it after use.
• Automatically Collected Data – We may collect non-identifying information such as browser type, device, and usage statistics.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide and improve website functionality.
• Enable features such as professor-matching.
• Communicate with you regarding updates or support.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Storage & Security

• All data, including user data, is stored securely using Supabase services.
• Resumes uploaded are stored temporarily and deleted after processing.
• While we take reasonable steps to protect data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Supabase for database and authentication. Their privacy practices apply as well, which you can review here.

5. Your Choices

• You may request deletion of your data (including your email and resume) at any time by contacting us at contact.researchrizz@gmail.com.
• You may choose not to provide a resume if you do not wish to use related features.

6. Children’s Privacy

ResearchRizz is intended for use by university students and is not directed toward children under 13.
